Flowering decorative plants: how to decorate with colour contrasts
There are two main colour styles when decorating with flowers and flowering plants: one is the harmonious style, in which decorative plants are selected in matching colours; the other is the natural style, in which things are more colourful and colour contrasts are also accepted. After all, nature does not adhere to the rules of "matching" colours either. In the end, of course, it is purely a matter of taste.
The strongest complementary contrast is red and green - you will find this among our decorative plants, for example, in the Bromelia Guzmania and, of course, especially pronounced in the artificial anthurium with its bright red bracts.
